Just so you've got an idea of the scale of this project-- each bag of whichever flavor of the "Loveable Jerks" you choose has about 4 and a half ounces of jerky included. I basically just stuff 'em until they almost won't close.
Truly, isn't every dog a loveable jerk? Like, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, and yet, I cannot trust them at all to make good choices on their own. (Should've seen me this morning, chasing after Dash after he "Houdinied" out the front door. Hilarious.)
Real quick, I do want to make sure that it's perfectly clear that I am not promoting an "All Vegan Diet" for your doggo. They are descended from wolves, and because of that lineage, must have animal protein daily in order to live healthy lives with happiness and longevity in mind. However, I noticed that once I added Sweet Potatoes into my dog's daily diet, their digestive systems worked better. (That's the nicest way I could say "Their poo looks AMAZING!" Forgive my vulgarity.)
So, that's how this whole thing started, really. I wanted to give my "loveable jerks" the best, healthiest options, along with a flavor profile that works with their species. I'm desperate to keep them with me as long as I possibly can, and this goal is every dog owner's wish, I'm certain.
